1. President Yoon Suk Yeol said on Tuesday during a Cabinet meeting that South Korea and Japan have to overcome history to normalize relations with Japan. Yoon also said there “still exist forces that hail exclusive nationalism, shout anti-Japanese sentiments, and take political gains”.
