1. According to Trade, Industry and Energy Minister Lee Chang-yang on Friday, South Korea will decide on the new electricity and gas prices for the second quarter in the next few days. This announcement came after the South Korean government failed to reach an agreement with the National Assembly on the new rates of utility bills.
2. The South Korean Ministry of Unification on Thursday unveiled a 450-page report which features interviews with 508 North Korean defectors who had witnessed or experienced serious human rights violations such as extrajudicial executions, torture, and state censorship of expression and media.
3. Former US President, Donald Trump, became the first president to be indicted on Thursday. He is being investigated on the alleged hush money payment to Stormy Daniels.
