1. According to the latest data released by the Bank of Korea on Friday, South Korea posted a current account deficit for 2 straight months in February, marking the first ever to record a 2-month consecutive deficit in 11 years, amid soaring import prices.
2. South Korea, the United States, and Japan called for the member states of the United Nations on Friday to repatriate all North Korean overseas workers that are key sources of foreign currency that goes into the development of Pyongyang's nuclear program.
3. Chinese President Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen held a meeting on Thursday during which Xi emphasized on enhancing cooperation between China and the EU.
