1. The presidential office said Thursday that South Korea’s decision on the provision of lethal aid to Ukraine will depend on Russia.
2. President Yoon Suk Yeol will pay a state visit to the United States for 7 days from April 24 to hold a summit with U.S. President Joe Biden on the 26th and to deliver an address before a joint session of Congress on the 27th.
3. The prosecution has sought an arrest warrant for Kang Rae-gu, a key suspect in the “cash envelope” bribery scandal for allegedly distributing a total of 94 million won, or roughly $72,000, to lawmakers of the main opposition Democratic Party to make then-lawmaker Song Yong-gil be elected as the party chair during its national convention in May 2021.
