2. The Korean Council for University Education on Friday approved an increase in next year's medical school admission quota, finalizing the first such hike in 27 years aimed at addressing medical service shortages in rural areas and essential medical fields.
3. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday approved a rule change that would pave the way for ETFs that buy and hold ether, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrencies. The decision comes less than six months after the SEC approved bitcoin ETFs.
