1.The National Assembly Speaker’s office announced on Thursday that the opening ceremony of the 22nd National Assembly, that was originally scheduled for Friday, has been postponed, adding that the new schedule for the event will be disclosed at a later date.
2.According to data released by the Bank of Korea on Friday, South Korea logged the largest current account surplus in May, reaching eight-point-92 billion U.S. dollars, to hit a 32 month high on the back of a rise in the trade surplus and increased dividend income.
3.The U.K.'s opposition Labour Party won a huge parliamentary majority in the country's general election, unseating the incumbent Conservatives after 14 years. Keir Starmer, who will become the country's next Prime Minister, said "change begins now" as he declared victory.
