1.Japan's Tokyo Electric Power Company on Thursday suspended preparation work for the test removal of nuclear fuel debris from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, due to a technical error, and it is unclear when the work may resume.
2.Prime Minister Han Duck-soo said Thursday that South Korea will push to expand free trade agreements with emerging markets in Asia and Africa to boost the export-driven economy and enhance supply chain resilience.
3.The police have formed a probe team and launched investigations into the deadly fire at a hotel in Bucheon, which killed seven people and injured 12 others on Thursday. The Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police said on Friday that it set up an 84-member team for the task.
