1. The South Korean won fell once again against the US dollar to 1,395.5 won during Wednesday’s session. This is the lowest figure since March 2009. The benchmark KOSPI also fell below the 2,400 mark during Wednesday's session, prompted by the report on US consumer prices.

2.  According to Vice Defense Minister Shin Beom-chul on Tuesday, South Korea and the United States will discuss "concrete" steps to sharpen deterrence against North Korea's evolving military threats during their high-level security talks later this week.

3. National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, said on Tuesday that more military assistance from the US will be sent to Ukraine in the coming days. Meanwhile, Ukraine took control of the entire Kharkiv region on Tuesday.
