1. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol urged lawmakers to swiftly pass his administration’s first budget proposal in a parliamentary speech on Tuesday, calling for bipartisan cooperation to respond to threats from North Korea and aggravating economic conditions.
2. The Bank of Korea said on Tuesday that South Korea’s inflation expectations stood at 4.3% in October, up 0.1%P from the previous month, making the first rebound in three months.
3. Rishi Sunak will be appointed by King Charles III on Tuesday as Britain’s first prime minister of color after winning the race to lead the Conservative party. He will be replacing Liz Truss, who was the shortest-serving prime minister in the country's history.
