1. The special investigation police division was established last week to probe senior authorities in charge of Yongsan-gu District, where the Itaewon crowd crush occurred on October 29th. As of Tuesday, 6 people are now pinpointed to be responsible for the Itaewon stampede.
2. The benchmark KOSPI closed at 2,399.04 on Tuesday, up 27.25 points from the previous trading day. This was the first time it went over the 2,400 points mark during intraday in 2 months. The local currency ended at 1,384.9 won against the US dollar.
3. On Monday, South Korean Unification Minister, Kwon Youngse said that it is possible for North Korea to conduct the nuclear test at any moment, but there were still no signs that such test was imminent.
