1. South Korean President, Yoon Suk-yeol, embarked today on a 6-day trip to Southeast Asia for the G20 and ASEAN multilateral summits. His first destination is the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.
2. South Korea is hosting an annual ceremony called, Turn Toward Busan, on November 11th, which is the International Memorial Day for UN Korean War Veterans, in Busan. This event is joined by South Korean PM, Han Duck-soo, and United Nations Command Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Andrew Harrison.
3. The benchmark KOSPI closed at 2,466.90 on Friday, up 80.93 points from the previous trading day, prompted by the report on slowing US inflation rate. The local currency ended at 1,318.4 won against the US dollar, down 59.1 won from the previous day.
