1. South Korea's central bank held its key interest rate steady at 3-point-5 percent for the seventh straight time Thursday, while cutting its growth outlook for next year.
2. South Korea's weather agency said Thursday a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck the southeastern city of Gyeongju early Thursday, but no damage has been reported. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration the quake struck the city at around 4:55 a.m.
3. Israel and Hamas agreed on Thursday to extend the ceasefire by at least one more day, minutes before the six-day truce was due to expire. The truce, extended from its initial four days, will see 10 more Israeli hostages released for 30 Palestinians.
