Progress Pod Accountability Groups - The most effective to way to…
Effortlessly set up and manage your Progress Pod Accountability Groups with ProgressPod.io
Today's episode is a bit of an experiment.
The question: How easy would it be to record my ideas onto my iPhone?
I have a friend, Jamie Bright, who records her private podcast episodes directly onto her iPhone. She’s been encouraging me to start dictating my ideas as a potentially easier and faster way to capture them.
I thought I’d have a go so I hit the red button and recorded a story.
After I had finished recording I wondered how easy it would be to upload that into Descript so that I could create a transcript.
It was super easy.
As I was listening back to my recording I realised that although it was pretty bad quality the content was kinda ok. I’ve heard podcasts where the sound quality was worse than this.
It then crossed my mind that maybe I should do a quick edit, add a beginning and an end though and some music, publish it simply and see what you think.
So this is it.
This is me deciding to get over myself and ‘put it out there’ regardless of how perfect (or not) it is.
I’m doing this for two reasons.
I’d love to know your thoughts.

Tosha is a parenting coach who focuses on helping parents learn to parent their boys.
She has a double major in Women's studies and Language studies.
Life was running along smoothly until one day when she was about three months pregnant, she suddenly wondered, “What if I had a boy”. Until then, that possibility had not occurred to her.
She realized that she now needed to figure out a way to marry her commitment to women and feminism, and her commitment to these amazing beings who she birthed, who happened to be boys.
And so started an entirely new journey that has led Tosha to create a course on how to manage aggression, writing a book, and building a membership community.
In this episode Tosha shares with us
This is an inspiring story of how life doesn't always go the way we expect it to. Things come out of, what feels like, nowhere and change everything.
For Tosha this led her on an unexpected journey with the mission to change the world, one sweet boy at a time.

This is the second episode of what I’m now calling the ‘Journey Reflections’ Episodes.
In his brilliant book Atomic Habits, James Clear says that “when you want to become better at something, proving your identity to yourself is far more important than getting amazing results”.
In these Reflection Episodes, you get to join me on my journey of ‘proving my identity to myself’ as I attempt to change and become the kind of person I want to be.
My hope is that you will get something out of each episode that will encourage you to also continue to make progress.
I’ll tell you about the latest things I’m thinking about, why these things have captured my attention and the impact these ideas are having on my life, business and on those I lead.
In this episode you’ll hear about how a discussion over Sunday brunch about doing some renovations to our home has caused me to change how I see myself and the kind of person I want to be known as.
You’ll also hear about why I didn’t publish an episode last week.
