Today on the podcast I have my friend Karan Sunil, who I met here in Chicago and he is an aspiring writer director currently based in LA. You’ll get to hear our conversation about his new web series, Code-Switched. A show he wrote and directed. The show is about five South Asian-American friends trying to make it on their own in a world of fleeting relationships, high-expectations, and gentrified workplaces.
In this conversation I want to highlight this web series which is a story about a community, that's real and can get messy at times. Showcasing stories that feel natural, relatable, and timely. How representation matters in creating a story for and by people of color.
