Fold in the Cheese: Your Recipe for Fantasy Football Success

That's right, we are talking Frozen here.  So Let it Go if you didn't make it to your fantasy football championship, there is still a lot to be playing for and paying attention to!  In these championship and consolation matches, we go through some key injuries and starting issues **breaking Kirk Cousins to the COVID list, no game for him Sunday!  We may even talk to Grandpappy troll to see if he can foresee what will happen

 

Kemp is in the ship for our league so he asks some tough questions as to who to start and who to sit.  Will Zeke be playing the roll of Hans and unsuspecting villain for his team?  Will Aman-Ra St. Brown be the surprising and pleasant upstart Oaken?  These pressing questions and comparisons are discussed, as well as Ethan getting grilled on some Frozen trivia.  Can't we agree that Olaf is technically a monster?

D'Oh!  Things got heated as Week 16 threw out some crazy finishes with big name absences and injuries.  Playoffs are shaping up and championships are about to get settled, which makes lineups and match-ups even more hotly contested than Hank Scorpio.  Stick with us as we break down some big time performances and dole out some strategy as you head to that championship and beyond.  This episode is tastier than a Flaming Moe

 

Kemper couldn't find Springfield on a map, so our buddy Jason Thurston steps back in to the hot seat to fill in.  It's fitting as Jason and Ethan were able to navigate the tire fire that was this COVID ridden week and find their way into a championship matchup in their league.  See if Jason gets outsmarted by the Blind Resumes and see if he picks his own players which helped him get to a 13-2 record, or if he falls victim to Ethan's amazing resumes.  I am so smart S-M-R-T

I can feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, Week 16 is all around us!  As we continue our holiday celebration, we try and wade through the chaos that was week 15 and cleanse our pallet, as we gear up for week 16.  Sportsbooks are taking a beating right now with COVID tearing through the league, and favorites going down, so they called in badasses Rick Grimes and Liam Neeson (doesn't need a character name), to play soft, lovable characters and ease our pain with their grand gestures.

 

Kemper travels all the way to Wisconsin to make his picks and figure out his DFS lineup, while Ethan brushes up on his Portuguese.  Will their lineups be lost in translation or will they be an even better match than the Prime Minister and his assistant?  Yeah, there are a lot of story lines in Love Actually so you gotta keep up...

 

We wish everyone a happy holiday and hope you all stay healthy and safe!  Oh yeah, good luck in the playoffs for those who are still crushing it and can't wait to hear about it next week!

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud for all to hear....Looks like no one got the memo because week 15 sat on a throne of lies and smelled like Beef and Cheese.  No one performed well, superstars were all duds, there were some major injuries, and the whole fantasy playoff landscape was thrown into a revolving door for too many spins.  I guess you could say the Green Bay Packers can boast of having the World's Best Cup of Coffee, but right now that isn't saying too much...

 

With fantasy lineups being pelted with snowballs after this week (with two games still to go tonight!), we try and help talk you through it.  Ethan is hurting in his playoff match up, and now Kemp has to worry about some season ending injuries to his team which was on bye.  We give you some Blind resumes and you may be surprised as to who Kemp picks for his squad, while Ethan might have picked Mr. Narwhal.

Who doesn't love a good sibling rivalry?  Buzz gets Kevin in trouble, so Kevin in turn steals his hidden cash stash.  The power went out briefly so Ethan almost didn't make it to this episode, and in his haste, he may have lost his mind with his DFS lineup.  Kemp on the other hand forgot to close the garage which let a whole lot of COVID in to the league, which will greatly impact fantasy playoffs.  We try and guide you through this conundrum with how to get your team stable enough to survive.  This whole COVID situation is more difficult to navigate than a house full of booby traps...

Since it is the holiday season, we figured we HAD to do a Christmas movie classic.  Yup, you guessed it, Die Hard.  It looked like Gruber was gaining the upper hand in causing chaos, as tons of big name injuries went down, but John McClane had something to say about it.  Ho Ho Ho, now the Rams have a quarterback, and are a big time player again in the NFC, while the Bills continue to be locked in the basement garage trying to figure out if they want to join in on the fun (at least we hope it is in a limo...)

If there are going to be 25,000 lights up there, you know damn well they are going to twinkle!  Bust out your Wally World mug, don't overcook the turkey, and figure out why the carpet is wet, because Clark and cousin Eddie take a gander at week 14 in the NFL.   We aren't going anywhere for a month so there was plenty of time to figure out what is going to happen in this week's games.  We have up to the minute injury reports which greatly impact tonight's game so listen in!

Once again, we are talking 90's cartoon, the best version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Get your swords, bow staff, nun-chucks and sais ready, because we WONT be using them, just like the turtles.  What we will be seeing however, is a return to normalcy in the NFL as the games went more according to script.  Krang and the Technodrome weren't appearing from Dimension X to stir up trouble from the favorites (although the Vikings may say otherwise) and some big names had big time performances.

We are talking about the 90's X-men cartoon here, not the movies.  The cartoon from our childhood was WAY better.  Wolverine's claws are out, and he must have gone on some sort of rampage with the amount of big time injuries that happened in week 12.  Leonard Fournette did his best Cyclops impression in leading the Bucs with a stirring half-time speech, and the rest of the X-men were having an epic battle against Magneto and his forces just like the Pack, Rams, Vikes and 9ers did.
