Continuing in John chapter 18 we watch as John shifts the scene from inside the "kangaroo" trial of Jesus to just outside in the courtyard. Gambino, Corleone, The House of Annas. Continuing in John chapter 18 we watch as Jesus faces one of the biggest crime families mentioned in Scripture. After a reminder of what it means when we talk about the Sovereignty of God, we see the "godfather" Annas confront Jesus as His enemies prepare for His demise.
We look at the last section of Jesus' prayer to God the Father right before His capture. Here in John 17, Jesus distinguishes between the Kosmos (the world system bent against God) and The Kingdom (the Body of Believers bent toward God), and prays for our Oneness with the Godhead.
