DO YOU EVER STRUGGLE WITH MIXED EMOTIONS???
For the longest time I had a hard time with AMBIVALENCE. Definition= a state of having simultaneous conflicting reactions, beliefs or feelings toward something/someone.
I would get overwhelmed and feel as though one of the two feelings must be bad, so I would stuff down the bad feeling and only hold space for the good one. Then at some later point in life the “bad” feelings would overflow and I would explode!
So I wanted to share a little of what I have learned in order to process these mixed feelings better.
1️⃣ Observe your feelings; don’t judge judge them.
2️⃣Pause, take time to reflect & be ok with pausing, don’t panic(easier said than done)
3️⃣Talk or Don’t whatever you feel is best for YOU is important to stick with.
