How do we reconcile Mt.5-16 -Let your light shine that they may see your good deeds- with Mt.6-1 -Don't do your acts of righteousness before men to be seen by them--

If the world is going to persecute us for our righteousness, why does Jesus say they will glorify God for our righteousness-

1- What about the persecuted church- Isn't it ok for them to hide from persecution--2- What should we say to those who complain about the church's hypocrisy- -3- How can we maintain our witness even after we've fallen into sin- Should we hide it--4- Is faith believing without evidence, or is it based on evidence- -5- If they are spiritually blind, how can unbeleivers see our light--6- Do we share only the gospel, or also the law-

Are you in the world and not of the world- Or are you of the world and not in the world-

You are light. Are you shining-

As Christians, we submit to Jesus' authority, but how can you learn to love his authority-

Light exposes reality in a way the results in righteousness and joy. And Christians are the only sources of that to this world.

We live in a dark world. God's solution- give the world light through the Messiah. But what does -light- mean-
