Food Guilt Around the Holidays

Let’s talk about food guilt, restriction and the "What the hell" mentality.

After a holiday weekend we are often filled with guilt over the weekend and decide to get super strict with our diet or exercise and so you make a plan.


✔️ I just need to eat less and stop snacking at night. ________ are my downfall.


✔️ I need to exercise more, instead of ___ days a week I need to do ___.


✔️ I need to eat healthy and get rid of all the junk food.


✔️ I need to add on 30 minutes to my workouts.


All of THAT doesn’t sound fun to me. Eat less food and take out the foods you love? ❤️ Add more time/things to do into your already busy schedule?

 And here’s the thing…If you’re in your 40’s and 50’s going through stages of menopause, those are not the things you need to be doing.

✅ You don’t need to take away the foods you love.  

Besides, when you take away the foods you love now you want them even more and then giving in to temptation makes you feel bad ⁣and you start this whole cycle.
