In this introductory episode, I talk about why I created the podcast, when it will be published, what it will contain, and why you should listen to it.
Welcome to the introductory episode of the Food Safety Podcast! This is Episode 0, a special introduction to what you can expect from our series. Our podcast is designed for food safety enthusiasts, whether you're new to the field or have a general interest in understanding the intricacies of food safety without getting bogged down by overly technical jargon. We aim to demystify complex concepts like BRCs, HACCPs, and CCPs, making them accessible to everyone.
In this episode, I share my motivation for creating this podcast. I wanted to provide a platform where individuals without a formal food safety background can gain insights and practical tips, especially when facing nerve-wracking audits like SQF. While our primary focus will be on SQF due to my expertise, we'll also touch on BSC and other relevant topics. Expect to hear about the latest updates from FSANZ, including recalls and public notices, as well as discussions on dairy management and approved supplier relationships.
This podcast is community-driven, meaning your feedback will shape our content. We plan to release episodes every Monday, covering a range of topics from SQF audits to self-assessment questionnaires. Occasionally, we'll feature guest speakers to provide additional perspectives. As this is a community-focused initiative, we won't be influenced by sponsors or paid content. Your input is invaluable, so let us know what you'd like to hear in future episodes.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I look forward to your company in Episode 1, which will be released next Monday. Until then, take care and stay safe!
