As Alex and Dan continue to globe trot, visiting many obscure and long forgotten corners of the world doing research for the upcoming episode of foreign cuisine, we offer you a small helping of The FOOD! Podcast with Alex and Dan. This one's been in the back of the fridge for awhile and kind of smells a little strange, but you could say it's finely aged. In this lost episode, we learn one of our heroes last names. Is troughiness important in a bun? Is there a fridge at the studio that we can use? What began as an episode on falafel evolves into something more important than anything any of of could have possibly known. The death of the falafel episode takes place in the shadow of a new life. It's not dead as long as we remember it. THE BIRTH OF A NEW FOOD
