In episode 04 of Food Warriors, we are joined by Samantha Kenny of the World Wildlife Fund to find out why the WWF cares about combatting wasted food. WWF works to reduce food waste for the purpose of protecting wildlife habitat from conversion for agricultural use and reducing methane gas. Samantha is a Program Officer with the WWF's Food Waste Team where she works on strategies to manage waste in the global hospitality sector. 

This is the 15 min Short Version of Food Warriors, episode 3 where we meet Stiles Najac. Stiles is the Food Security Coordinator of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County, New York. She is the woman behind the wheel of the Gleanmobile, and this noble duo -- along with an incredible posse of volunteers -- are recovering 270,000 pounds of fresh produce per year. That delicate and seasonal bounty is then swiftly delivered to soup kitchens, food pantries and food banks throughout Hudson Valley.
