Food and Travel Nation Taste Test
Broadcast Date: 07/03/21
The history of low alcohol beer goes back to the middle ages. Peasants loved the low cost versions of the beers they enjoyed at the fetivals. Later, the Volstead Act of 1919 (prohibition) limited beer ABV to 0.5% and while not great, it sustained beer lovers till 1933. Now there's a resurrengence in low or no alcohol beer. Do any of them come close to the flavor or real beer?

This seemed like a good idea at the time, after all "whiskey" in Irish translates to "water of life."
Heading into St. Patrick's Day, we wanted to see which Irish Whiskey was best. By the time the test was over, our test subject (Michael) was turning green.
