In Lake Mary, Florida just north of Orlando, the city invested in and installed a new water treatment facility.  It's a big secret as to what's being done and how, as even reporters are being denied access.  So what is going on there?  Why isn't the local Orlando-area media being allowed to tell the public about the water treatment system that their tax dollars purchased?  Why won't Lake Mary officials explain what the system is, and how it works?  Is the water safe to drink?

When did "we the people" who supposedly own the federal, state and local governments lose control?

On Friday, September 29th, the heavens opened up and it rained down upon New York City.  This wasn't your typical late summer shower that sends bikers and walkers running away from Central Park, this was a flood that some experts say was the biggest rains the city has ever seen.  Roads were flooded leaving motorists stranded, the airports were closed and the subway system was shut down and evacuated as much of the entire underground world was underwater.

The explanation just doesn't make sense.   How could lingering showers from a relatively small tropical system that passed by a week earlier have caused this much damage?  In the meantime, where were the weather alerts telling people to stay home?  And oh yeah, where is FEMA?

Elizabeth has the latest food news, including a story from the UK.  One week ago, researchers released a report that showed conclusively that ultra-processed foods are not healthy.  Rather than take the report and investigate, the UK government went on offensive for the FOOD INDUSTRY with claims that not only are ultra-processed not bad, the government argues that such foods can actually be healthy.

This sounds just like the corruption that we see in the US everyday, and is further evidence of the "revolving door" between the food industry and the government that is supposed to watch over them on our behalf.
