So instead of ELIMINATING lead from baby food, (as it should have done) the FDA took the path of least resistance.  The agency is patting itself on the back for telling the companies that make baby food to simply reduce the lead content.  Lead has been shown to cause brain and developmental damage to infants, and rather than stand up to these companies and do what's right, the FDA has, once again, taken the side of the companies.   At a time when people are looking very, very closely at the FDA, they've proven who they actually work for.
