An uneventful day of travel leads to violence and pain as a blue elven woman and a squad of archers try to lure Wehn away from the group. When trickery fails, they resort to brute force to try to isolate the special little child from her party of protectors. Can our heroes keep her safe from the fey forces facing them?

Our heroes wake up to a bit of trouble as a ravenous (and rancid!) vine monster attacks the outpost where they had spent the night. As if that weren’t bad enough, they also have their first encounter with Bloodthistle, the weed that refuses to die, and realize that they really need to figure out a way of dealing with the deadly plant permanently. Fortunately, they learn that moonflower can be used as a handy poison to keep the plant in check. Moonflower...now where have they heard that name before...

Back on the road and through the woods, our heroes begin their trek to the fabled heart tree of the Thornbush Forest, in search of the entity that contacted Wehn. Unfortunately, two of their guides quickly go missing, and the gang themselves are soon ambushed by a group of terrifying hounds and a bush that holds a truly horrifying secret. After defeating a young green dragon and avenging the death of Alyssa (and failing miserably to comfort her grieving husband), our heroes are led to a treetop village for a little much needed R&R. Unfortunately, peace is hard to come by in this little village, as tensions between Mork and Igny, sisterly drama between Iv and Jezz, memories of Em’s past and a strange dream of Wehn’s make it difficult to truly relax. Our heroes trade one insufferable Elf for another, as Galwyn’s High Mage, Ignatius, joins them, eager to escape Galwyn before the Duke and Duchess discover that his magical prowess may not be as impressive as he claimed it to be. With no idea how to cure the Princess’ curse, he suggests making their way across the mountains to the east, putting as much space between themselves and Galwyn as possible. Unfortunately, the heroes learn very quickly that the forest is home to something big, scaly and winged. That’s not a good sign...

After getting a proper beat down, O’Nyx tries to flee as Iv’Ory and Jezzara pursue. Oshmina and the Princess are doing some running themselves, trying to escape the enormous water elemental chasing them down. Both chases come to a head in the town square, where Jezzara knows an ambush has been set up - but an ambush for who? One thing is for sure: that shadowy figure under the overhang seems very angry...
