Football America!

The AFC and NFC championships are here! And Football AmericaI! is here to provide a deep dive on each game. Can Jarrett Stidham rally the Denver Broncos past the evil New England Patriots? (Actually, are they still evil? And would it be a better Super Bowl if they win?) Will the 12th Man in Seattle and a stout defense be enough for the Seahawks against Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams? (What about Soup's beloved Sam Darnold? Will he be at an MVP level on the biggest stage of his career so far?) We brought the best mind of NFL predictions, Nick Kostos, on to discuss the ins and outs of an entertaining weekend of football. So sit back as National Champion Dave Dameshek and The Super Fuentes Brothers guide your dreams, harness your desires, and maybe make you some cash on this episode of Football America!

Sean McDermott fired! Can the timing be worse? John Harbaugh and Kevin Stefanski just signed with the Giants and Falcons. Oops? And while everyone is sad today for Josh Allen no one has shed a tear for CJ Stroud. Is it because he tried to big bro Caleb Williams? Maybe. Meanwhile, there’s tough and then there’s Bo Nix making a throw after his bone snapped. The hashtag #winitforbo has become a rallying cry for the Broncos. Speaking of cry, the Chicago fans had the highest of highs and then a quick fall back to earth. They're still sobbing a day later. We don't blame them either. Then our good friend and former NFL lineman Geoff Schwartz jumps in and gets deep into religion. Yes, religion. He says it’s the key to prep yourself for the violence of a football game. Alleluia! Dave Dameshek and the Super Fuentes Brothers dive into the details on this life saving episode of Football America!

Mike Tomlin will be gone. Dave said it first. And second. And probably third. But the beat reporter job is tough and while they most likely knew... no one dared tell. But Tomlin leaving obscured a bigger fact: the Steelers played terribly. Enough! Enough Pittsburgh talk! Especially, since we have Rams talk to get to with our longtime friend and former NFL wonderland Maurice Jones-Drew. We got a lot to talk about. How the frigid Chicago air impacts the Rams and Matthew Stafford. How the beautiful weather in Seattle won't impact the Hawks or the 49ers. How the Broncos might want to be scared of Josh Allen and the Bills. How Houston has an offensive problem against the Patriots. We got it all! Dave Dameshek and The Super Fuentes Brothers and MJD will get you the prep you need before the best weekend of the year on Football America!

We've been saying it all year, "Parity is King!" We just the saw highest number of fourth-quarter lead changes ever witnessed in a single NFL postseason. We learned a ton. Matt Stafford is a gunslinger. Carolina should sign Bryce Young to a Sam Darnold like contract. Ben Johnson's rivalry with Matt LeFleur and Green Bay is good for the game. Josh Allen's tush is pushier than Jalen Hurts. The 49ers are dead in the water without George Kittle. Drake Maye and Company got their stinker out of the way--and crushed Justin Herbert's soul in the process. Dave Dameshek and former NFL lineman Geoff Schwartz review the game-tape and let you know what you need as the playoffs continue on Football America!

It's Wild Card Weekend and Football America! has the goods to get you ready. Old Guard vs. Old Guard, and New Guard vs. New guard, and maybe Old Guard vs. New Guard, too, with the Bears vs. Packers and Caleb Williams vs. Jordan Love. Then there's the Jaguars vs. Bills and Trevor Lawrence vs. Josh Allen. Can the betting favorite for Super Bowl MVP make it to the big game? Of course Allen won't. The Jaguars are real. What about the Rams vs. Panthers you ask? Rams. Why even ask? 49ers vs. Eagles? Chargers vs. Patriots? Dave Dameshek and former NFL Lineman Geoff Schwartz and teh Super Fuentes Brothers have the answers on this episode of Football America!

It was over before it started - did you see the priest blessing the Pittsburgh endzone with the holy water before the game? The other side of that magic H20 is of course it damned the Ravens. What did they do to feel the wrath of Jesus? I don't know. And I don't want to know. But we do know the NFL playoffs are set. The Broncos and the Seahawks have the easiest pathways to Santa Clara. Mike Tomlin lives to coach again. And over in college football land, a Cuban American showdown between Miami native Fernando Mendoza and fans of The U is on the horizon. They just need to get past the Ducks and Ole Miss first. Dave Dameshek and the gang chat it up with our good friend Mike Ryan Ruiz on this episode of Football America!

We've been thinking this season has been crazy. So what is the craziest thing to learn about if you fell into a coma last New Year's Eve and are just waking up right now? The Chiefs and Lions missed the playoffs. All-Pro Micah Parsons got traded to the Green Bay Packers. Jimmy Kimmel got pulled off the air. Jayden Daniels did zero, but the 2nd year QBs Bo Nix, Drake Maye and Caleb Williams all won their divisions. The Steelers followed up their awful idea of starting Russ Wilson by signing another mercenary. Or the Indiana Hoosiers destroyed the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl. Our good pal The Dutch Mook Paul Koehorst joins the show to answer this question and give his thoughts on the top games of the week on this episode of Football America!

Lions out. Lamar on the brink. Ben Johnson in the drivers seat. And if the 49ers run the table, they'll play home games the rest of the way. Yes, it's that time in the football season where every little game matters a ton. Top seeds to top draft picks. Jonathan Zaslow joins Dave Dameshek on this episode of Football America! What an insane and extended week of NFL football! Week 16 was a tornado of playoff clinching moments, game deciding calls and even DK Metcalf swiping right on a fan. Meanwhile, the Bears now call Caleb Williams the "Iceman" for his walk off 46-yard strike. Lamar Jackson is being held together with duct tape and bubble gum. And Trevor Lawrence is actually for real. For real. Plus, we have part two of our chat with Chris Long and our good friend Trai Essex from The Snap Count stops by to chat about the crazy ending to the Steelers/Lions game. He says the offensive line is powering the Steelers resurgence. So bake those Christmas cookies and wrap those gifts as Dave Dameshek and the gang get you back up to speed on this can't miss episode of Football America!
