Recent reports have suggested that Bayern Munich is actively exploring the possibility of replacing their current manager, Thomas Tuchel. It is believed that the club's hierarchy is considering several potential candidates, including former Bayern player Xabi Alonso.
Alonso, who played for the German giants between 2014 and 2017, is currently the coach of Real Sociedad's B team. Despite his lack of experience at the top level, he is highly regarded by many within the game and is seen as a promising young coach.
However, Bayern are also said to be considering the possibility of bringing back Hansi Flick. Flick, who led Bayern to a historic treble in his first season in charge, left the club in 2021 after a string of disappointing performances.
While both Alonso and Flick are seen as strong candidates, it remains to be seen who Bayern will ultimately choose to lead the team going forward.
