The Quakes have a quick turnaround this week so I'm having a quick turnaround. In this episode, I talk about the Quakes slim playoff hopes especially with Seattle in the form they are in. Also, is there anything better than a Hop Stoopid at Avaya? I think not.

This week, Major League Soccer's largest summer event took place in San Jose and I was not impressed. All-Star games in the middle of the season are weird unless it's baseball, it's even stranger when the opponent is a foreign team in their offseason. In this episode, I discuss the All-Star game and American soccer's suburban attitude.

It was a huge week for both the Quakes and the Dragons. On Saturday the Quakes did the improbable and beat Toronto by scoring a goal after two of their midfielders were shown red cards. On Tuesday, the Dragons went down to Fresno to face Fuego FC for a spot in the conference championship. The Dragons finally put away the Fuego in an extra time thriller.

This week the show is very Dragons heavy. Needing a win on July 10 against Las Vegas to secure a spot in the PDL playoffs for the second year in a row, the Dragons delivered in front of a record home crowd. I also talk with three of the most promising prospects in the Quakes system: Daniel Musovsky, Jamael Cox, and Khalid Arramdani. I also talk about the abysmal quality of soccer the Quakes are currently playing and how to survive with your pride intact.

In this episode, I talk with my friend Chris who is on the verge of becoming one of the newest season ticket holders for the Quakes. He loves sports but had no background with soccer until his first game at Avaya, where he fell in love with the stadium. We discuss the European Championship which is coming to a dramatic close. I also introduce him to the Burlingame Dragons and discuss their recent tie with BYU that puts them in a comfortable position to make the playoffs. Finally, we talk about the heavily leaking ship that is the Quakes and I try to convince Chris he made the right choice in backing the Quakes.

This week Oz talks Cali Clasico, which was another dramatic edition of the best rivalry in MLS. He also gets into the national team's performance at Copa America including Wondo's poor performance. Also, a new soccer rivalry is born in the Bay Area between Burlingame Dragons and San Francisco City FC with the Dragons taking the first edition in convincing fashion.

In this episode, I talk about the Burlingame Dragons 4-0 thrashing of San Francisco City FC in the first ever meeting of the yet-to-be-named derby. I also get into the Quakes abysmal effort in Portland in the 4th round of the US Open Cup and how it exposed their lack of depth on the roster.
