In the last sermon in this series, we look at Psalm 130. In this Psalm, the author encourages us to hold fast to the Lord's steadfast love and redemption. He invites us to experience freedom from our sin.

At different times and in different ways we become aware that we are broken and regret things that we have thought, said, and done. In Psalm 32, God promises the blessings of forgiveness to anyone who will trust Him and confess their sins.

There are real circumstances in our lives that can lead us to feeling downcast. Sometimes the causes are not clear to us. But we can seek hope in the Lord in specific ways as we see in Psalms 42-43.

As you look at your life, do you treasure God above all things or do you treasure things of this world? In Psalm 16, we see how seriously David views his security and salvation.

As the only married couple mentioned in the New Testament, we see that Priscilla and Aquila worked together for the legacy of Jesus. Everywhere they went they intentionally looked for ways to help make the legacy of Jesus known.

By looking at the story of these two lesser known characters, we see that God uses our sacrifices and obedience to contribute to His legacy. We may never know how something we do or give today, may have ripple effects for the future of His kingdom.

Tabitha is another example of an ordinary person making an impact in the Kingdom of Jesus. Tabitha isn't even quoted in the Bible, but others tell of her good works. She is praised for her sacrifices and care for the people in need around her.
