In 1 John 5:1-5, John reveals how belief, love, and obedience combine to offer the true Christian evidence and assurance of their salvation. He then tells these true believers that they are "over-comers!" Pastor Mike explores these 5 verses and encourages the church to live in victory.

In 1 John 4:16-21, John expands on his comment in 4:12 where he says, "God's love is perfected with us." Pastor Mike explains what perfect love is, how we get it, and what it does for us when we live in it.

Pastor Mike continues with the sermon series in 1 John by looking at 1 John 4:13-16. In it, John tells the church that they can be sure that God is in them and they are in God based on 3 pieces of evidence. Pastor Mike shows that we can be sure too based on these 3 things as well!

Pastor Mike explores 1 John 2:18-27 to remind us that we are living in the last days - and have been for 2000 years. John says that these end times are filled with deceivers, so Pastor Mike tells us how to stand strong and not be deceived.

Pastor Joe takes us through 1 John 2:12-17 and encourages us not to love the world because it will pass away. Instead, he encourages us do God's will - because it is HE that will last forever...and so will we if we do His will.
