Changes in his game his mindset and the USL league, how connections got him in the door, adapting to different positions, approaching a year contract like a year trial, debuts in front of 20,000, how his academy time influenced him forever, sustaining determination, respect and being the best version of yourself. The transfer window, an incredibly important time for all footballers looking to sign or re-sign for their clubs. But there is much more to it. Dylan and Sean break down the WHO is it relevant to, WHAT Can You Do, HOW You Can Find Teams, WHERE You Should Look For Teams, and lastly WHEN the transfer windows open and close. Also, a guest was promised for this week and Wagsy is back on the show. He appears on the second part of the show (beginning at 20:37) where they talk footy and play a few fun games such as "start, bench, sell". Please excuse Sean's mic quality, as he's been traveling around this preseason and was stuck using headphones from 1980.•WHAT IS FOOTWORK? It's the last week of our Make My Own Path Month and that takes us to Germany. Our co-host Sean's first true taste of European soccer. But it did not come so easy. Proving himself to coaches, scouts, presidents, you name it.. Sean had to make a name for himself in Hamburg, Germany. And that he did. Playing with multiple clubs, Sean saw the differences of being in a Soccer Mecca, the vision of what the sport could be, denial, achievement, relegation, and vowed to continue his mission no matter what. This episode has it all. This is Make My Own Path: Germany with Sean Vinberg.•WHAT IS FOOTWORK? It's our third week of our Make My Own Path month and today we are headed to Sweden. After finishing in Australia, our co-host Dylan wasn't simply handed a new contract before the end of the season. Wanting to get into Europe, he took a contract that could be seen as a "small step backwards" but it ultimately was the right move. Spending two seasons in two different leagues in Sweden, Dylan dealt with many hurdles along the way. This episode has it all; dealing with expectations, playing on a team full of Americans in Sweden, visa issues, learning about yourself, creating a bigger network, unexpected roadblocks, choosing between Ketchup or BBQ sauce and much more. This is Make My Own Path: Sweden with Dylan Williams.•WHAT IS FOOTWORK?
