with the beginning of a segment on this podcast comes 'Fic Talk' which is the time I use to talk about the fiction I write while I'm not on this podcast recording. i've been writing for a long while now, since the spur of 2011, and i never got to have the chance to talk about the books i write, the progression and everything that goes into an online book. of course the plot to these books is a secrecy i keep in my heart, but let's scratch the surface, shall we? a huge thanks to wattpad for my start to writing fiction.

when the world's weight is on your shoulders, it is important you believe in something; whether that be yourself, religion, or the stars above. being at peace with yourself is significant to the opportunities that life gives you, so being mindful of your spirit is the sole key to happiness.

a first kiss is something really special to me and am incredibly grateful for. it's something i've always wondered about since a young age, but the one that really counted and felt right wasn't until the age of seventeen. from an embarrassing time to when i kissed a boy during kindergarten nap time (and actually got in trouble for it), to when i kissed a boy on the cheek in the fifth grade, none felt like what a last first kiss would feel like. it was intimate, magical, and the memory of it stuck with me since. it was also then when i knew, i'd never experience my first kiss the same way i did with this boy ever again, nor with anyone else.

social media is inescapable, if the truth must be said. if there's any time to spare, social media is one of the things we tap away at through our phone screens, until the time dwindles. though it may seem like an innocent task at hand, as the days go by, we find that what we see on social media impacts our very emotions, and our views of the world. though the promise comes as being connected, for this post modern era of endless videos we find comical, saddening, and most importantly moving. though a photo holds more than just the snap shot it is taken at in that exact moment, it's only a millisecond of life as we know it actually.

when concerts used to actually be the best thing before this pandemic, nostalgia stuck with me since those moments. from one direction, to 5 seconds of summer, to green day and g-eazy, here are a few memories that meant absolutely everything to me.

in this episode, i manifest my inner film critic and share my theory and my opinion on the fear street movies from the beginning to end. as a fan of horror, i thought these movies had to be the best to ever release in 2021, and it isn't just the incredible casting that had me hooked, but really the entire story-line. it was incredibly hard to resist breaking down these movies and the interesting concept that they all effortlessly revealed a connection though they took place in different points in time.

everything on makeup, and how it can be empowering, sometimes drowning, and what can feel like an illusion after wearing it for days straight. don’t get me wrong, i love makeup. although in the second episode, i explain the emotional and mental aspect of what it’s like to wear a full face of makeup, and how a little of it can sometimes go a long way for me. i’ll also tell you my main three or four that i’ll use if a full face of makeup isn’t ideal. conclusion being, makeup is what you make of it, there's never anything wrong with feeling good about yourself.

in the first episode, i open up about anxiety and the hardships of dealing with what it manifests into through the years of my youth. there are simply ways we can survive it, but even though we can't completely say goodbye to anxiety, it's always possible to heal from it through time.

in this introduction, i delve into my main purpose for this podcast, how i see it from my point of view, and what i mean to speak on for this podcast's entirety. if you're listening, you matter. as a voice that speaks on a fight for life and its thrill, there is not a second that goes by where your actions don't benefit you and what you stand for. so, live it up.
