With a background in performance arts, Cass changed direction and fell in love with weddings. When you’re lucky enough to find what feels like a purpose in life, it can give you so much confidence and reassurance. For Natalie from Natalie Gaynor Designs, creativity (specifically hand embroidery) was the key to finding a purpose after feeling really lost when her youngest child started school.

Natalie is a hand-embroidery artist from Manchester. She is passionate about community and using creativity for your wellbeing – bringing people together through stitching. She believes it’s not about being perfect or having the best skills, it’s about the creative process and enjoying the calmness it brings.

It's a magical feeling when you think you've found 'the' thing you were always meant to do. And for Jen Feroze from Jackdaw Editorial, that's exactly what has happened within the last 18 months. 

Jen is a published and award-winning poet, and a creative copywriter. She loves getting to the heart of a creative business, pulling out what makes them special, or capturing someone’s memories and feelings in a poem.

She originally started her business back in 2017 but recently introduced a new service: live event poetry – where she creates poems, on the spot, using her trusty typewriter, Lady Millicent. Her copywriting and other poetry definitely aren’t going anywhere but typewriter-ing has unlocked something truly special.
