  • Episode 72: I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore (Ft. Jonathan Smathers)
If you were ever curious about what kind of movies directors like Edgar Wright and Daniels have been influencing, this is a pretty good example of it. Stylistically, this is a really pretty and satisfying film to look at and the pacing of its writing is a delight to see develop throughout the movie. Absolutely recommend it.

  • Episode 71: Wonder Woman
We saw Wonder Woman this past weekend and it was exactly what you'd hoped it to be. Fun, exciting, well put together and a bit glamorous. Patty Jenkins did a great job and its exciting to see what her next film ends up being.

  • Episode 70: Burn After Reading
It's another Coen Brother movie. Burn After Reading. It's a fun movie that seems to not be saying a lot but touches on quite a few serious themes if you look hard enough. Had a lot of fun with this episode. Thoroughly recommend the movie if you have not yet seen it.

  • Episode 69: 3 Women - Criterion Collection
Our Criterion Collection Movie of the block is out! I did not enjoy this movie at all but Chris liked it a lot. There's something to learn in that. Naturalism and improvisation are just not effective filmmaking tools for me.Enjoy the show!!

  • Episode 68: Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
"Do you know what you find if you google the word amazing?" "A picture of Chris and Bryan?" "No! The definition of the word amazing, Which they fucking are." We're doing Kiss Kiss Bang Bang! It's fun, entertaining, smart in its comedy and definitely a beautiful start to what would later be "The Nice Guys" Which is one of the best comedies of 2015.Give it a go if you haven't! Cheers!

Hooked on a Feeling Baby! We're talking both Guardians of the Galaxy, Mostly Guardians 2. But! we have Rob Retiano from The Empire Geeks Back Podcast. I think it's a brilliant episode, and I learned that I'm apparently really harsh on Marvel as a critic. Cheers! hope you enjoy the Episode!

  • Episode 66: Adaptation
It's another Kauffman film, we love the guy. This counts the third of his movies we've talked about. He's great at writing and Spike Jonze is great at directing his writing. What more is there to say?

  • Episode 65: Suicide Squad Ft. Bryan's Regret - Guilty Pleasures
So... We all make mistakes right? Forgive and forget, the good ol bit about how not to hold grudges and stuff. Let's keep that in mind while watching this episode. We talk Suicide Squad. I made some mistakes. Alright, I get it. but! I still had fun and it was a fun episode. So fuck it. It worked out.

  • Episode N64: Alien (Without the S. not Aliens. Alien)
So, you know that guy with the Golden Gun in Goldeneye? Fuck that guy, unless I'm that guy. In which case, fuck everybody else. Anyway, we're talking Alien. The brilliant sci-fi horror directed by Ridley Scott. Look, it's a good movie. It's a classic and there's a reason for it. It's delightfully written and performed, well shot and incredibly good at doing what it set out to do. Unsettle you. Apart from my problems with sound mixing, this is a brilliant movie that I believe everyone should watch and learn from. cheers!
