This week we speak to Keith Tucker Sr.

A true legend of football in the DC area, we talk through his early years playing in Bermuda and then transitioning to play at Howard University the year after they had won the National championship.

He gets into some amazing stories as a player at Howard and transitioning into the assistant coach role.

We also touched on the importance of community based programming how he was involved in the creation of several of those programs in the area.

Interestingly we didn’t go deep into his 26 years as head coach at Howard, coaching the Bermuda national team or him winning national college coach of the year (that’s for another episode).

There are so many nuggets of jewels in this interview that it’s something to watch several times.... one of my favorite discussions was around his advocacy work for young players and his simple question to another coach “where would you play Pele”?
