In this episode we continue our discussion on death. We again address how families deal with the loss of loved ones during the holidays. We also deal with how people take time for granted and how some individuals are so sure that death will pass them by as if they don't have an unknown appointment with death. Join us as we discuss these and other topics in this candid conversation about "Death- Are You Ready?"

This episode of For Such A Time As This was recorded on December 19, 2021. It's an episode where we had a candid conversation about Death. In this episode, we deal with how people take death for granted as if they are immune to death. We also deal with how loved ones leaving right before the holidays and sometimes on the holidays affect people. Hebrews 9:27 says "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Join us as we discuss Death in the first part of this series and see if you are ready.

In this second episode, we deal with, the spiritual man vs. the unsaved man, choices, distractions,(i.e. cell phones, social media, family) & substitutes. We also touch the topic that one of the biggest reasons that there is so little interest in God now a days is because there are so many things that are put in the place of Him. In this final episode of God's toolbox we discuss a variety of things ranging from people's attention span in church, to the Word being preached and understood and the fact that there is one,(God) who knows exactly what tool you need for whatever problem you encounter along with a variety of other topics. 

We live in a world where people find interest in a variety of things. Family, jobs, furthering their education, money, social media, sports, pleasure, reaching personal goals, and relationships just to name a few. But the most interesting individual that there ever will be has become less and less interesting every day. That individual is The Almighty God. Join us in this multi-part series on "Why Isn't God interesting Anymore?" as we seek to find out some of the reasons that people are interested in everything and everybody but God. 

Welcome to episode 2 of the toolbox!  David tells us in Psalm 119:11 - Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee. When David wrote this verse he understood the power of our sinful nature. He also knew that the word of God was the only medicine that could overcome our spiritual disease of sin.  It also has the power to restore and bring us back to a right relationship with our loving creator.

In this 3 part episode of “Kitchen Table Conversation” we finally sit down to discuss the master’s toolbox. A toolbox is defined as a toolkit, a tool chest or workbox) it is a box to organize, carry, and protect the owner's tools. This toolbox that we’re going to discuss will protect you from all dangers, seen and unseen. This is a toolbox that guides you through the storms of life, and the joy that can fill your heart.  It offers you the living word of God, which has been established and sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ.
