For Such a Time as This

The conversation continues on Hell, Please Don't Go There. 

Easter Sunday Morning Service 4-17-22.

A lot people don't believe in Hell. They often say that I don't believe that such a Good God would send anyone to Hell. Well, that statement is true: God does not send anyone to Hell, but he will allow you go to there if you reject the Gift of His Son Jesus The Christ. Whether a person believes in Hell or not does not negate it's existence. Hell is REAL!!!. And people are dying and going there every day. If a person ends up in Hell it is simply because they chose to go there. If you haven't asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and to be your Savior and Lord, I would do it today. Tomorrow is not promised. The Bible declares that we all have an appointment with death, the thing is, we just don't know when our appointment time is. One day you are going to leave this world and you will have an eternal home. Where will it be? It's Heaven or It's Hell; You're Going To Miss One of Them, But You Won't Miss Them Both!!! In this second part of this episode on "Let Him Deny Himself", we continue our Kitchen Table Conversation on Self. One of the biggest problems with self is that it wants to rule. It wants to dominate. It wants things its way. But in order to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ, self has to be denied. The only answer for self is for it to submit to the Spirit of God. Join us as we conclude this series on "Let Him Deny Himself."

One of the greatest decisions that anyone can ever make is to follow Jesus Christ. Now once that decision is made, one has to understand that one of the biggest deterrents to following Christ is Self. In order for one to faithfully and successfully follow Jesus, self has to be denied and neutralized. Now this will not be easy because self is so used to doing what it wants, when it wants, how and where it wants. But Matthew 16:24 tells us that in order to follow Jesus, self has to be denied. In this episode of For Such A Time As This, we discuss Proverbs 22:6 which says Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. However, a lot parents chose not to raise their children based upon God's word. So, now some of our children are void of manners, respect, proper behavior, and talk to adults any way they chose. It is so hard to reach our some of our youth today because they now have their own set of rules that they live by. Until parents get back to parenting based upon God's word, we will continue to see our youth delve into deeper depths of wrong and debauchery.  Join us as we have a candid conversation about our youth and the way that they are raised today. 

Some of our children today are lost in a world of I do whatever I want to do. The reason that they have this mentality is because a lot of parents have gotten away from what the Bible says regarding to how children should be raised. Join us as we dive into what the Word of God says about how children should be raised.

In this episode we continue discussing the tug of war that the Child of God faces and how we should immediately call on the Lord when the mind is being overwhelmed. You see, the mind is constantly processing things and everything that the mind processes is not the Word or the Will of God. So we have to remove those ungodly things that infiltrate our mind.
