*First all I want to apologize for the audio on this one.. We had some technical difficulties and I’m still learning, so we may not sound the same today. Hope it’s not too hard to hear.
Today’s episode is a tough one, but something we all deal with at one point in our lives. Grief… the loss of a loved one affects every one differently. Today my friend Olivia and I are going to talk about losing our friend Ashley. Listen as we talk about her and how through our grief we have continued to honor, remember and celebrate her every day.
This episode was really hard, but really important to me. I appreciate you all so much for tuning in every week and I hope that this episode gave you some tips and ideas on how to express your grief and continue to love and celebrate your loved ones once they are gone. It’s not easy, and it’s not fun, but it is necessary. If you know someone who could benefit from this podcast, I would love for you to share it with them. If this podcast can positively impact ONE person’s day - it is a win in my book.

This week’s episode was supposed to be about one topic and quickly turned into something else. My friend Jessica and I were going to talk about marriage but instead she surprised me with a pregnancy announcement! This was recorded a couple of weeks ago before the world knew, but she has officially announced and I am so excited for you to hear this conversation.
We talk through early pregnancy, her and her husbands decision to have kids and why, and so much more. If you are on the edge about when to have kids, if you want kids at all, or are newly pregnant I hope this episode will make you feel seen and understood!

On this week's episode I am talking to my friend, Adam. Adam and I have been friends since middle school but he also happens to be married to one of my best friends! In this conversation we talk about him becoming a father for the first time and how he and his wife Kyleigh decided to have him leave his full time job and become a full time stay at home Dad. From 1 kid to 3, Adam has mastered being a stay at home parent and has some wonderful insight to this fulfilling and sometimes very difficult job. We also discussed how a nap time hobby turned into a passion, and what he's doing with that now.
I hope you enjoy this episode and if you do, I would LOVE it if you would rate and review the show. Not only does it help others find the podcast but it also makes my day so much brighter. This week I am talking to my brother in law Tim. We discuss mental health in men, and all of the stigma’s attached to that. We talk through what we can do to help lessen that stigma for the men in our lives. (specifically the little men in our lives). I loved this conversation and really appreciated Tim’s vulnerability and honesty telling his story.

*TRIGGER WARNING*
In this episode we will be discussing infertility and pregancy loss. If you are in a place where it would be painful or hard to listen to stories surrounding those topics, I urge you to guard your heart and encourage you to pass on this episode. With that being said I do think this is a story of hope and Katyln brings such a positive and uplighting point of view.
In Episode 3 of 'For the Ell of It' I will be talking with my friend Katlyn. We chat about her and her husband's journey to creating a family as well as discussing how she also helped someone else start their family - It’s such a good story! I hope you enjoy it!
