In today's Podcast, I will be speaking about the debate on Baptism and which is correct. Most people say that the Baptism as instructed by Jesus Christ prior to His ascension in the Book of Matthew is the correct one, while others argue that the right Baptism is to be baptised in "Jesus" name only as stated by Peter in the Book of Acts on the day of pentecost.
This has been a debate that has gone on for years, however, what most people do not understand is that this is another way to divide the Church. Let us not forget that the entire Bible is the inspired word of God, therefore, we must not pick and choose what we accept from what we do not accept.
Let us go forth and be children of God and not allow such minute differences bring division to the body of Christ.

In this life, we will all go through trials and tribulations, however, it is how we handle it that matters. In the Book of James 1: 2-4 we are told to count it all joy when we experience trials. However, to some, it is easier said than done. Most of us would rather run away from our trials than to face them. When we look in the Scriptures, we see those who have been tested and has persevered. If our faith is not tested, how will we know to trust God. Job was tested and despite what others were saying, he did not give up on God. Despite what we are going through, our God is faithful and He will never see the righteous forsaken.

In the Book of 1 Corinthians 3, Paul told the Corinthians that they were not spiritually mature because of the quarrelling that was happening in the church. Some stated that they followed one set and some stated that they followed another set.
As believers, the Lord has established the 5 found ministries to edify the Body of Christ, however, some in the church of today is placing their leaders on a pedestal. Let us remember that we serve a jealous God and we must not put anyone or anything above Him. While we should respect those in authority, nothing and no one and I mean absolutely nothing and no one should take the place of having an intimate relationship with the Lord.
Let us be like Mary who sat at the feed of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In today's episode, I will discussing some on the reasons why our prayers may not be answered. At times are prayers are delayed because of spiritual forces and sometimes are prayers are not answered because we are praying selfishly. In the end, the Lord always answers our prayers. The answer can either be yes or no. The thing we need to do is to not expect the Lord to answer our prayers in the manner that we want to answer.
At the end of the day, He is God and He and do whatever He wants to do. We need to learn to be patient and wait on the Lord and His perfect timing for our lives.
As the Scripture says in Isaiah 60:22 at the right time, He will make it happen". This means that it is not when we are expecting things to happen but when the Lord sees it fit.
Let us remember that He is God and He knows absolutely what is best for our lives.

Have you been given instructions by the Lord to go and do something, however, due to fear or any other reason, you have failed to carry out the Lord's instructions?
Today's episode will be about Jonah who was trying to run away from God, however, this effort did not end well for him.
I will also speak about my personal experience of not wanting to do what the Lord has told me to do. In not doing what God has called me to do, I had no peace.
When God has given us an instruction, we need to be obedience and carry this out.

When we look around us, we see people worshipping everything and everyone except the Lord Jesus Christ. We can often get caught up in worshipping things that are made with our hands or our possessions. The Scripture has warned us that those who worship idols are fools and will be put to shame.
As created beings, we were made to worship on our Creator. Until we come under His rule and surrender, we will not be complete. This is why some often turn to the worshipping of false gods. These same gods, cannot speak or hear us yet still people have chosen to worship them.
If you have been caught in this lie, turn to the Lord Jesus and ask for forgiveness of your idol worshipping and He will forgive you.

Let us come to the Lord and worship Him alone because He is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

There are times when we feel as though the Lord has completely forgotten us. We feel so isolated and alone. It is at this time that the Lord is training us. Do not rush the process but instead stay in the valley because as the Scriptures tells us, even in the valley, the Lord is with us.
When we look at Moses and David, they had experienced their valley situations. It was during this time, the Lord was training them. Moses to lead His people out of Egypt and David to be king over the children of Israel.
At times it can be hard but instead of trying to run, ask the Lord what He wants us to learn during this time.

In life, there are times when we feel that we are not worthy or someone may have spoken negative words over us. We must not accept these negative words because this is not who the Lord says we are. We are so valuable in His eyes, that He died for us so that we can spend eternity with Him.
Instead of listening to the lies, listen only to who God says you are. He says you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are the apple of His eyes, He calls you His beloved, amongst other names. Let no one tell you that you are not enough because in the eyes of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are enough and this is all that matters.

Thank you for tuning into another Podcast episode. In today's episode I will be speaking about what it means to put our sword away and allow the Lord Jesus to not only comfort us but to also so us how not to take matters into our own hands.
When we are being hurt by others, the first and sometimes normal human instinct is to let that person experience our anger. We often want to take matters into our own hands instead of allowing the Lord's plan to come to pass in His own timing.
In the Book of John, we read where Peter was the first who acted, by pulling his sword and cutting off the ear of a slave of the priest. Like Peter, we often want to help the Lord but this is something that we do not need to do. The Lord does not need our assistance because we do more harm than good. All we have to do is to trust the process and His plans.
John 18:10 - 11Then Simon Peter drew a sword and slashed off the right ear of Malchus, the high priest's slave. But Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword back into its sheath. Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering that Father has given me?".
