I have to make a lot of decisions and there is almost always somebody who is unhappy with me for at least a little while. I try to be as fair and as human as I can but when the topic is sensitive, it’s not always easy. Right now I am dealing with a sticky problem. One of our department managers (“Barbara”) is a sweet lady but a horrible manager. Her employees don’t  like her.

As a freelancer, you might think that dream clients are exactly that – a dream. But this is far from the truth. In fact, there are amazing clients hiding everywhere, you just have to know how to find them. Social media is one of the best ways to do this because 37% of employers use social media in the hiring process. Think about the over two billion people who use platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn every single day, that’s a huge pool of people you can tap into.

If you’re an entrepreneur, chances are you’ve experienced the “hustle.”  Popularized by entrepreneur icons like Tim Ferriss and Marie Forleo, the hustle says you need to work relentlessly, obsessively, with unparalleled drive and insatiable and hunger for your goal. You should be “on” 24 hours a day, restless, raging, and unwilling to stop for anything or anyone. To an outsider, it may sound crazy–absurd even.

pexels.com I don’t know about you, but I’m thrilled with the technology we have available to us. And as an online marketer, I can’t help but wonder what new marvelous developments are in the pipeline—and how those developments are going to affect my ability to connect with an audience.

Or, your boss passes on to you a suggestion about how your contribution to the project could be even greater? The fact of the matter is that this question has no simple answer. It depends on the level of confidence or self-assurance you have. It depends on how the feedback is delivered by the giver. It depends on the relationship between the giver and you.
