Shutterstock If you want to understand how fear and trust operate, get a journal and start writing in it. You can take notes on your phone or record audio messages to yourself if that’s easier. Pay attention to your feelings throughout the day, and you will start to notice the waves of fear and trust that wash over us all the time. One minute we feel great and the next minute we feel a clutch of anxiety, panic or irritation. These are all manifestations of fear.
