Summer has always been my least favorite season, though I’ve always struggled to articulate why. Perhaps it was my Arizona upbringing, where summer temperatures soared to ungodly heights, or the restlessness that comes along with vacation season. In any event, Summer and I have a longstanding adversarial relationship that hasn’t abated since starting BodeTree. Each year, it seems like I find myself in a summer slump of sorts.

The past three months have been full of all kinds of new feelings, too little sleep, and making sure that my business continued to grow during my maternity leave required military-like precision and focus. For months Microsoft has been describing Windows 10 “as a service”  and now we know why. Microsoft is going to introduce a monthly subscription fee for Windows 10 usage… That cost will be $7 per user per month but the good news is it only applies to enterprises, for now. The new pricing tier will be called “Windows 10 Enterprise E3” and it means Windows has finally joined Office 365 and Azure as a subscription service.
