To determine which cities make this list, job search and salary comparison site Glassdoor considered reviews shared by local employees on their site over the past year (through April 24th) for the most populous 50 metros in the country, according to the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. Each ranking is based on a minimum of 1,500 employee reviews.

But with new message buttons, Slack is making it clear that it would prefer if customers spent most of their time using them without ever leaving. Slack has continued its platform push by announcing the new buttons on Tuesday alongside 12 initial partners headlined by Trello and Kayak.

Median annual base salary for each metro is based on a minimum of 1,000 salary reports shared by employees in that metro on Glassdoor over the past year, April to April.
