Forefront Church

Around the holidays we get a chance to be around family. Sometimes it's a joyous occasion and other times it's super weird. We can actually feel a heavy anxiety coming home to be with family. But that feeling is amplified when we think about coming to God. The good news- it's always time to come home. No matter what you've done, who you are, or how bad you think you've been… you can "Come Home."

One of the biggest things Jesus talked about was prayer. Actually, he didn't talk about it, he modeled it. So what's the best way to learn about prayer? How about we look at Jesus and see how, when, and why He prayed, in our series, "Prayers of Jesus."

We were pleased to have our guest speaker, Neal Alligood with us. Jason, our pastor, was having some family with health issues, with the possibility of heading down to Alabama to help out- so we asked our friend Neal to bring a message for the church here at Forefront. If you ever wondered if the Bible has any relevance in our lives, check out this message concerning the church at Corinth and how it relates to the beautiful city of Virginia Beach, and Forefront Church.

Jesus taught people in stories. Not in stories that they couldn't relate to, but stories that were told in a way that connected to every day life. Today, movies are like that for us. They move us emotionally and share stories that we can relate to. In this series, "@ The Movies" we will take a look at popular movies and how God can speak through the big screen!
