    Mohammad AlShamsi is the Head of Firearms and Toolmarks section at Dubai Police. He graduated from the first INTERPOL Young Global Police Leaders Program in 2019 and is a member of numerous international associations such as the Association of Firearms and Toolmarks Examiners AFTE where he is the point of contact for the Middle-East and West-Asia region and the first Arabic Certified Firearms and Toolmarks Examiner FA/TM-AFTE. AlShamsi represents the Middle-East Region at the International Association for Property and Evidence IAPE and is the first Certified Property and Evidence Specialist CPES in the Middle-East and Asia. 

    AlShamsi is an Adjunct Faculty member at the International Institute for Forensic & Security Studies and Amity university for the Bachelor’s and Master’s students in Forensic Science Ballistics and Advanced Ballistics course; he has lectured and trained more than 2860 attendees in events and training courses since the beginning of 2017 to date.

    James Wigmore has worked as a forensic toxicologist for over 29 years at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, Ontario.  He has testified in over 700 criminal cases throughout Canada and in numerous personal injury civil cases and coroner’s inquests.  He has published over 70 scientific articles in forensic toxicology which have been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada, and the High Court of South Africa.  He has written numerous book chapters as well as 3 books on the medicolegal aspects of alcohol and cannabis.  His next book will be on nicotine and vaping.   • Ep. 33 -Joe Bryan - Imprisoned By Faulty Testimony

    Joe Bryan, was a high school principal in 1985 and had been attending an educational conference in Austin, Texas, over 100 miles away from his home when his wife was murdered.  Bryan was subsequently convicted of murder and spent over 33 years in prison based in part on faulty bloodstain pattern analysis evidence. A detective working on his case wrote in a sworn affidavit submitted to the court, “My conclusions were wrong..." regarding the BPA evidence.
