Forest Blakk is an “urban folk” artist from Montreal, QC, Calgary, AB who now lives in Germany.

​He received his first guitar at 15 when he found himself living on the street while his father was in prison (for being in the Irish mafia). While some people let their pasts define them, Forest is determined not only to move forward himself, but also help others do the same. Demonstrating resilience from a young age, he is armed with stories about discovering his music and hustling on the streets just to survive.
