Good servants of Jesus Christ are faithful stewards of the resources he has given them, and they seek to advance his kingdom. Wicked servants are unfaithful stewards of the resources he has given them, and they seek to advance their own kingdom. Which one will you be: a good servant or a wicked servant?

The gospel has the power to redeem the broken and save the lost, just as it did with Zacchaeus.

The miracle of mercy is having faith to see: faith to see who Jesus is, who we are, and that the only way to true life transformation is total trust in Christ.

The good news of the gospel is that we have a Savior who suffered, died, and who rose again victorious over sin, death, and Satan.

Eternal life is given, not earned, costly, not cheap, and difficult, not easy.

We enter into the kingdom of God like little children, with total trust in Christ, complete dependence on Christ, and an authentic desire for Christ.

Because we are living in the last days, believers must be committed to prayer, perseverance, and conviction that God is still changing lives until he returns.

Because the kingdom of God has come, we can step into 2021 with hope that God is in control, faithful to his promises, always present with us, and one day will return to set right all that's broken and fractured in our world today.

Just as Christ showed mercy to the leper in meeting his needs, Christ also shows mercy to us in meeting our needs today.

At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus' first advent as we anticipate his second advent.
