With a lack of attacking option in the Nottingham Forest squad, reinforcements in the final third of the pitch are a must during this January transfer window, so its good news for Forest fans today as we have been linked with Cyril Ngonge.

Ngonge is a Belgium 23 year old who plays for Hellas Verona in Italy, and can play in a number of position along the front line. He has impressed in Serie A and has caught the eye of a number of rival European clubs including Aston Villa and Napoli. For a fee reported to be in the region of £11 million this would be an excellent signing if Forest can get it over the line.

With Forest already having been linked another winger in Ivan Alejo earlier this week, it seems like the recruitment team are targeting attacking players this January, which is good news for a Forest teaming desperate for more goals.
