With the January transfer window closing in, Forest have again been linked to a number of new players, as they continue their scattergun approach to transfers before Thursdays deadline. But with Forest needing to sell before they can buy, the likes of Mangala and Worrall have again been linked with moves away from the City Ground.

Maxwel Cornet is the latest attacker to be rumoured to be wanted by Nottingham Forest, the West Ham winger has failed to impress in his time at the Hammers, and has struggle to lock down a first team place. But with a loan move being talked about, would West Ham be happy to weaken their squad by letting Cornet leave without a transfer fee.

Orel Mangala has been the most wanted Forest player this January, with a number of European clubs showing solid interest in the Belgium International, however with Napoli and Juventus failing to agree a fee with the club, today its turn of Lyon. The French club want to bring in Mangala to help strength their team and help avoid the threat of relegation, as they currently sit 16th in Ligue 1.
